Van 15 tot en met 20 mei komen wereldleiders, vakbondsleiders, vertegenwoordigers van de private en publieke sector, het maatschappelijk middenveld, regionale en internationale organisaties, denktanks, Nobelprijswinnaars, academici en jongeren in Zuid-Afrika bijeen voor de ‘5th Global Conference on the Elimination of Child Labour‘. De alliantie Work: No Child’s Business gebruikt dit momentum om op te roepen tot dringende actie om kinderen uit het werk en naar school te krijgen.
Op dag 3, dinsdag 17 mei, is onderwijs het belangrijkste thema, met onder meer bijdragen van WNCB en Education International. Volg de sessies via livestreams:
