Global Education Summit

9 juli vindt de Global Education Summit plaats, over het financieren van de Global Partnership for Education 2021-2025. Premier Boris Johnson van het Verenigd Koninkrijk en de Keniaanse president Uhuru Kenyatta organiseren samen deze conferentie. Wereldleiders krijgen tijdens deze bijeenkomst de gelegenheid om voor vijf jaar toezeggingen te doen aan de GPE om de onderwijsstelsels in 90 landen en gebieden te helpen omvormen. Voor Nederland zal Pascalle Grotenhuis de toezegging van 50 miljoen euro bekend maken. Kijk hier welke bedragen door andere landen worden toegezegd.
